Javier De la Cuerda analyzes the future of the cloud market and the news of Enimbos

"Our customer retention rate is practically 100%"

"We are in a moment of expansion, in our country and also internationally. It has been more than two very intense years in which we have managed to become a 'partner cloud' benchmark in Spain, we have consolidated a highly certified team of more than 60 people and that continues to grow, "says the CEO of Enimbos, a technological 'startup' focused on the efficient management of public cloud infrastructures. With more than 150 clients, they indirectly manage the technological platform of more than 500 entities. "For us, one of the most important indicators at the end of each month is the control of the Annual Guaranteed Recurrent (ARR) based on the contracts signed. 2018 we close it with an ARR of three million euros".

Enimbos is a technology startup focused on the efficient management of public cloud infrastructures, as well as the provision of highly efficient solutions for the assurance of business continuity. Recently, it has announced in London the launch of the Skytuneup platform, a software as a service (SaaS) solution, which guarantees its customers savings of more than 80% in the consumption of cloud resources. This platform will be key for Enimbos to achieve the internationalization of the company. Enimbos was the first Spanish company to obtain the certifications for Service Management (ISO 20000), the monitoring of Security standards (ISO 27001) and the Business Continuity guarantee (ISO 22301) in cloud environments.

 


In June 2016, he founded Enimbos, at what moment are they?

We are in a moment of expansion, in our country and also internationally. It has been more than two very intense years in which we have managed to become a reference cloud partner in Spain, we have consolidated a highly certified team of more than 60 people and that continues to grow. In addition, we have incorporated important companies that have trusted us to carry out vital projects in their process of transition to the cloud. We are in a very sweet moment, intense in work, but very motivating for those of us who form the team because we see that our efforts are paying off and that the future looks good for Enimbos. 

 

Can you tell me about figures?

At the commercial level, we are winning 77% of the offers we present and our customer retention rate is practically 100%. We currently have more than 150 clients, although indirectly we are managing the technological platform of more than 500 entities. Our business is based on recurrence, so that 90% of our revenues are guaranteed by contracts of more than 12 months. For us, one of the most important indicators at the end of each month is the control of the guaranteed Annual Recurrent (ARR) based on the signed contracts. In 2018, we closed it with an ARR of 3 million euros.  

 

What are your forecasts for this year?

Our budget for 2019 is to close with a turnover of 5.5 million euros and an ARR of 7.5 million euros.

 

What are your objectives?

At this moment we have 8 strategic initiatives that go through to strengthen the relationships with our partners, getting to be Premier with AWS and Google and MSP in Azure before the end of the year. Our commitment is that Enimbos grows in all aspects, at the team and client level, consolidating our expansion in Portugal and ultimately becoming a company recognized for its expertise in the cloud, reliable for our customers and seeking excellence. Additionally, one of the key objectives of the year is the development of collaboration with a charitable cause that allows us to get closer as a human team to the needs of society.

 

What are your future plans?

Our future plans have as main focus the internalization of Enimbos, being our 2020 horizon, develop in the United Kingdom and Northern European countries. Looking forward to 2021 expand this horizon to offer our services worldwide.

 

Who are your customers?

Our target market consists of 800 medium and large companies whose information technologies are critical for their business model that adapt applications to be able to give differential value to their businesses, with environments that have high costs and that we manage to optimize. We are completely horizontal in terms of sectors and in addition to Spain we also have clients in other countries such as Malta and Portugal. Also Spanish clients that provide services in Latin America where we help them consolidate and centralize resources efficiently in these countries. In addition, we support startups or scaleups that have been born in the cloud but need an expert partner in these environments that allows them to have hyper controlled the environment in order to grow.

 

What differentiates you from your competitors?

We are a company completely focused on the client. We emphasize to apply the main advantages of Innovation for their benefit. We adapt to the needs of each client by providing the most appropriate solutions and agnostically to the technology providers. Finally, we stand out for the passion in everything we do. The commitment to the continuous training of the team, being one of the companies with the highest number of certifications. Our level of expertise in the main cloud platforms allows us to be agnostic. In addition, our flexible system of agile methodology with operative cells formed by groups of 7 people that allows any incident of the client to be resolved in a faster way and to find an answer in the first call.

 

What means for Enimbos the launch of Skytuneup?

Skytuneup is a SaaS platform that achieves the maximum optimization in the purchase of cloud resources using spot instances, which allows companies to obtain very important savings in their consumption of resources in the cloud. We are currently working on new features that will facilitate the labeling of platforms in heterogeneous and multicloud environments. Additionally, a planner is provided for turning on, off and resizing the customer platform based on the values ​​assigned to the labels. That is, to automate to the maximum in order to reduce costs and human errors.

 

How do you see the current technological landscape? What opportunities does it offer?

The forecasts show that, in three years, the cloud industry in particular will have developed three times faster than the generic set of all information technologies. Cloud computing is a paradigm shift because of its infinite computing capacity and that introduces many innovative concepts for companies. For Enimbos, this scenario offers a wide range of possibilities because multicloud environments are our area of ​​knowledge and a really exciting challenge.
